We are going to focus this week on photosynthesis. I was thinking this week of how green everything looked here in Panama City despite the fact that it has been so cold out. Trees are going through photosynthesis to get products they need for metabolism. Plants use cellular respiration to get ATP for energy to use in photosynthesis. You are going to learn this week that photosynthesis is the direct opposite of cellular respiration. So my question to you this week is - I have stated that plants go through both photosynthesis and cellular respiration. Do we humans go through photosynthesis? Why or why not?
